About the Builder:
"My journey as a guitarist began at the fragile age of twelve. After much rummaging about in the basement I discovered a pile of records. Among the pile was a album, not just any album, Van Halen I. Side A, Track 2: Eruption. Loud, face melting, life changing. After much pestering and persistence I received and electric guitar and a Van Halen Anthology book. I fell off the face of the earth in an attempt to conquer the world with my guitar.

After finding that many of the guitarists I idolized modified or built their own guitars, I figured “Hey, why not?” and gave it a go. After finishing my first build I decided that this is it. I enrolled in the guitar construction and repair course at Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery. If you have no idea who/what that is that’s okay. The important parts are that this place is the real deal. No cookie cutter “insert tab A into slot B” garbage. You learn to build a guitar from the ground up, inside and out. The school is also fully accredited member of the ACCSCT (Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology). They have a website with the deets. You can find it with the search engine of your choice, I graduated in ’09.

You don’t buy something because it’s “all right”. You don’t run out and buy a new car or stereo because your friend said “Meh, It’s okay, I guess?” You want a something that’s built with passion, skill, and good old fashion handcrafted attention to detail.

I love guitar and that’s who I build for: people who love it too. Players. The people that the “why” of their investment matters just as much as the investment. The instruments I make are for playing; not to be hung on a mantle someplace. I build because I enjoy it. I want to pass along quality craftsmanship at a great value that also looks as radical as possible.

Even after I decide to pack it in (yeah right) with the building business, you’ll still find me out in the shop making dust and shavings. My craft is my life, and I couldn’t be happier."
