Description:
This is the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom Hummingbird Deluxe EC; a modern, stage-ready take on one of the most iconic acoustic designs. If you're a gigging player or songwriter who likes to explore the upper register, the cutaway gives you easy access while the deluxe appointments make it feel a notch above your standard Hummingbird. It's especially great for lead players or anyone wanting a full-featured acoustic-electric right out of the box. This model uses a thermally aged solid spruce top for volume and resonance, with solid rosewood back and sides for added depth, clarity, and sparkling highs. The one-piece mahogany neck features a rounded "C" profile and a smooth ebony fingerboard with split parallelogram inlays. You get premium touches all over, 6-ply top and 4-ply back binding, an ebony reverse belly bridge, gold Grover tuners, and a gold-etched Hummingbird pickguard. For live or recording, the L.R. Baggs VTC Bronze pickup system with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls gives you natural plugged-in sound. Playability is easy and comfortable, with great upper fret access and solid tuning stability. Each one comes with the Epiphone Protector Ultralite case, which is lighter than a traditional hard case but offers plenty of protection for getting to gigs or sessions.
