Here we have a super cool mid 80s Jackson Neil Schon Signature Guitar!
This guitar is in very good condition and perfect working order. This guitar appears to have been one of the Ed Roman specials as the guitar has been semi-professionally refinished to the current color of black however, the original blue paint is still underneath (and in the electronics cavity) & it shows through some of the light scuffs and dings the guitar has. I say that the guitar was semi-professionally finished due to there being some orange peel in certain areas, a light amount of overspray on the binding, and some sanding marks. Frankly, compared to finishes I've seen come out of the 80s on production model instruments from the big brands, this isn't too bad at all. The serial number is both an ambigram and a palindrome so that's neat. The frets are in excellent condition with no sign of wear, although it does appear that the guitar has had a light fret level at some point in its life. The pickups are Seymour Duncan "Black-Back" pickups (seemingly also from Roman) and the electronics are just regular Volume/Tone with a 3-way slider switch. There are no repairs, cracks, or issues to speak of. The guitar is currently strung up with 11's and plays amazing. If you want something different, just send us a message. The guitar comes with a non-original hardshell case that works great.
Please keep in mind, I have edited all of the detailed photos of the up close blems to look as terrible as possible. The are all pretty minor for an almost 40-year-old guitar.
This guitar is on consignment with us and is being sold AS-IS.
