Alright here are the goods:

The bass is in very good condition with minor wear throughout, and no repairs or cracks to speak of. The original pickup (which is included) was swapped for the Dimarzio equivalent in the 1980's by the original owner as he felt the stock one sounded too muddy. Unfortunately, whoever did the work seemed to cut the pickup leads right at the source so if you desired to put the original pickup back into the bass, it would most likely need to be rewound by a professional. The pickguard doesn't fit anymore as the dimensions on the new Dimarzio pickup are different compared to the stock one, which brings us to the next booboo. Whoever installed the pickup didn't really do the cleanest job of routing, but it doesn't affect the bass in any way. The factory mute still works great. We have the bass setup at 5 to 5 64ths at the 15th fret with a fresh set of D'addario Chromes 45-100. The headstock veneer appears to have suffered some sort of damage/delamination, but again, doesn't affect the structure of anything and could most likely be reglued fairly easily. The body has pick scratches, and a light amount of buckle rash on the back. The neck on the bass is straight, and there is hardly any fret wear to speak of. The original owner said he took it to a few gigs in the 70's and 80's but because he has many other basses, he rarely played it. The original case is included, and it's in good shape and works great.

Please reach out if you have any other questions!
